Still Working Out What it Means to Be Saved By Grace

We might be mid-life but we are still
trying to discover the depths of faith, family and how we are to be
Christ-agents in this world in which we live. We are open to explore, ponder and
discover how God will use us in this phase of our lives. We desire to refine and
adjust ourselves while we reconnect to our pasts and make this transition to the
future. It isn't really about the destination but more about the journey....We
use each of you to sharpen us and hone us to be the people that God intended for
us to be. Will you share the journey with us? We love your comments!

Relational Vacation

We have been on vacation for the past nine days. Wow!!! It has been a good change for Dan and I. Time for each other and time away from the "dailiness" (it that a word?!?) of life. This has not been a vacation for seeing the sights but rather one to renew and reconnect with family. We live so far from the Midwest that it find it a challenge to get back to this part of the country but we managed it this time and packed in a lot of relational time in this trip!

One of the highlights was reconnecting with Chuck's Wolf family cousins. Aunt Cornie and Uncle Bill have four children... Tom, Andy, Cory and Hank. All four cousins managed to get away with their Mother and meet for the wedding. We got to have our very own private dinner with them the night before the wedding. Dan and Abby got to meet these wonderful people finally after 16 years! We had a fabulous dinner with them ... closed down the restaurant... we were so loud... we laughed so much! Aunt Cornie the exquisite hostess!!! A night to remember for all...

Some Family Time
In the midst of it all we did have some family time with our 8. The only one we were missing was Hannah (sigh...) but it was quite a feat to get the rest of us all together. you had a very excited Mother in me over this turn of events!!! We had time at the hotel and at the Mall of America where Charlie won the Putt Putt Game against the males of our family. Of course the women were too busy shopping....

I hadn't realized what was going on in that nose shot, but it's pretty funny. Now that I know what it is, I can tell Jer was not amused.

The pics from Magggie & Daddo's are great, too. Thanks for taking so many and posting. Wish I could have been there for all of it - it looks wonderful!
