Still Working Out What it Means to Be Saved By Grace

We might be mid-life but we are still
trying to discover the depths of faith, family and how we are to be
Christ-agents in this world in which we live. We are open to explore, ponder and
discover how God will use us in this phase of our lives. We desire to refine and
adjust ourselves while we reconnect to our pasts and make this transition to the
future. It isn't really about the destination but more about the journey....We
use each of you to sharpen us and hone us to be the people that God intended for
us to be. Will you share the journey with us? We love your comments!

320 Palouse

Charlie "on the street where he leaves"
Occassionally, as a parent, you do something right....
October 23rd Dan and I journeyed to Pullman, WA to hang out with our youngest son, Charlie, on his court. Besides buying meals, doing his dishes and hanging his punching bag, he really appreciated having us come and enter into his world at Washington State University. We brought him there 14 months ago as a freshman, dropped him off knowing no one (gutsy, to say the least, of the lad) and so seeing him here now shows that he has come long way. He lives in a house of six guys... it was relatively clean.... this Mom was amazed. He has a great church with some wonderful friends. We were so pleased by the life Charlie has carved out. Praise God! We got to see the way that God has answered so many of our prayers. Char has a good place to life learn and grow.....
The Palouse- some of the richest wheat country in the USA

This Mom was excited at this point!
We were getting close to Pullman at this point in the trip down from the Spokane airport.

Walking with Charlie on the WSU Campus....

Going to a Division I College Cougars Volleyball Game
They beat their rivals the University of Washington in a big upset. It was fun to get a feel of college life.
Saturday Morning Brunch with Charlie's roomate Eric at the Infamous Old European.... probably the BEST Breakfast food I have ever had!
Driving all over Pullman and Moscow to find a coffee table for the boys house- this is Eric.... Charlie's roomate!
This was taken right after Charlie pulled forward over the parking cement stopper in some pakring lot.... sorry Dad.....
Charlie and Eric Enjoying Momma Lynnie's Steak!
I made Chugwater Chili too and Char shared it with a few of his pals. A Mom always wants to be sure her chick's are taken care of. The boys thought it was a real treat.

Dan and I even got in a great walk on a path between Pullman and Moscow!
Charles himself in his newly arranged room- he lives in a house with five other guys!!! Yikes!
Dan Helped Char hang a Punching Bag in his basement.... This is a Dad who likes a project!

Charlie's Church- Much like the Hillsong Church in Austrailia
Friends from Charlie's Church- a Fine Set of Kids to Run with!
Charlie has a great group of friends from his church. We are so thankful that God has given him a place to belong!
Mom with the Littlest Boy!
