Still Working Out What it Means to Be Saved By Grace

We might be mid-life but we are still
trying to discover the depths of faith, family and how we are to be
Christ-agents in this world in which we live. We are open to explore, ponder and
discover how God will use us in this phase of our lives. We desire to refine and
adjust ourselves while we reconnect to our pasts and make this transition to the
future. It isn't really about the destination but more about the journey....We
use each of you to sharpen us and hone us to be the people that God intended for
us to be. Will you share the journey with us? We love your comments!

NYC and the CT Coast Trip

We had a marvelous time on our trip in November... I have hundreds of photos but selected just a few to post here. I can't figure how to label these.... it changes my post every time I got to view them. Sorry.... Dan and I think that every American should go to NYC one time... the history, a real nerve center of our country, all the places that you have heard made reference to over the years, the pulse and energy of the city... each should experience it once for yourself. It is much cleaned up than when I saw it back in the 70's. We loved it and wonder if we should go back every year to take in a few Broadway plays and eat their great food!?!?!?

Even Ben was there at the same time and so we took the subway and went to the Met... the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Ben and his brother.... that was great fun!

We went to Yale University's Peabody Museum in New Haven, CT where they have this huge dino taken from the Como Bluffs right near our Carlin Ranch.
Stayed at a B and B in Old Lyme, CT... the yellow house. Totally New England and in the fall no less!

Got to have lunch with Hank's sister and her husband who live part of the time in NYC... the infamous Aunt Cornie and Uncle Bill. What a treat!

The one of me by the tree is at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree! It was heaven for this girl!

A memorable trip for sure!

Amazing. Also a bit amazing that Daddy-O thinks he might also enjoy an annual sojourn to NYC for a show and a nice meal. Or was that just you?

How did you get such a close-up shot of the Rockettes?

Dad likes the idea of going again.... we sat in the front row when we saw the Rockettes! We could see them sweat! It was cool
