future. It isn't really about the destination but more about the journey....We

Holiday Memories

We had a great holiday season this year! We had all but Jeremy and Tara here although we were in Sioux Falls for Thanksgiving with even Charlie flying in so we had everyone but Hannah there this year. Jeremy and Abby both are married but no grandchildren yet so it is a unique time in the life of our family. Tweeners... I guess is what we are. The cool thing about this time in life is that we are relating to our children mainly as adults now. The wonderful thing about that is that we really like them as people and they seem to like us too. Spending time together is a real joy. They enjoy their siblings as well so it is always such fun to watch them relate. It is wild and lively and the nights are long. How we got blessed to have such great kids who love the Lord is a mystery and a tremendous blessing! Here are just a few choice pictures of the festivities.....

so fun! thanks for posting the pictures so that jeremy and i could see some of your christmas memories!! it's nice to be at a phase of life where it's not all about the grand babies yet. :)
