Still Working Out What it Means to Be Saved By Grace

We might be mid-life but we are still
trying to discover the depths of faith, family and how we are to be
Christ-agents in this world in which we live. We are open to explore, ponder and
discover how God will use us in this phase of our lives. We desire to refine and
adjust ourselves while we reconnect to our pasts and make this transition to the
future. It isn't really about the destination but more about the journey....We
use each of you to sharpen us and hone us to be the people that God intended for
us to be. Will you share the journey with us? We love your comments!

Lynn Cracks into Cheyenne Channel 5 with a Moon Picture

Dan and I went for a walk last Saturday night at 10:00 pm. Feburary is the month of the Snow Moon. Dan has had us watching Jack's Stargazer's show and learning all sorts of great things about the glorious heavens that God has created. jackstargazer.com- check it out for yourself. Dan knew that the moon was almost full and it was said to be really bright. So Dan shouted for me to hurry that there was a big ring around the moon. Of course, I grabbed my camera....digital and all the took the above picture. Couldn't get all the ring but some of it. It was gorgeous and only lasted about 5 minutes. It was so light we could see the cattle everywhere around us. So I took the second picture with the flash off, of course. Hope you think it is cool too!
P.S. Dan wants to make sure you know Sully was on moon walk too... no matter that he ran back to the house early so he could retire for the night....

I sent these to Channel 5 in Cheyenne and Channel 9 in Denver. Channel 5 has already featured my picture this am, according to sister-in-law Dianne Kirkbride. But they contacted me and said it would be on the 5:30 news because it was so cool. So if you get Cheyenne's Channel 5 you might tune in tonight at 5:30pm and check it out. I will add something more to this post if I hear anything from Denver's 9 News.

"The heavens declare the glory of God and the skies proclaim the work of His hands."
