Still Working Out What it Means to Be Saved By Grace

We might be mid-life but we are still
trying to discover the depths of faith, family and how we are to be
Christ-agents in this world in which we live. We are open to explore, ponder and
discover how God will use us in this phase of our lives. We desire to refine and
adjust ourselves while we reconnect to our pasts and make this transition to the
future. It isn't really about the destination but more about the journey....We
use each of you to sharpen us and hone us to be the people that God intended for
us to be. Will you share the journey with us? We love your comments!

Our Own Steeple Case

Chugwater Valley Church is getting a new steeple. After years of a leaking steeple we a have changed it to be more of a bell tower. Now you can see the bell and their are plans to take away the awful plexiglass out front and do some xeriscaping... how hip are we? God's house, while not needing to be elaborate, does need to show some care.
Ministry is happening too. Tonight Carolie Pollock and company kicks off the 2008 Vacation Bible School. Charlie and Mick are signed up to do games and Dan and I will do the Bible teaching.... Carolie is a saint... she has just come off of a HUGE schedule of baseball and the County Fair with her five. It wears me out to think of it but you might pray for her especially this week. I believe God will honor her commitment. She is an example of someone pouring out their life for Christ and the sake of the gospel. May her example challenge us all. There are souls hungry for Jesus touch even in little old Chugwater...

Cool steeple (chase). Can you put a picture up of when it's done, too?
