Still Working Out What it Means to Be Saved By Grace

We might be mid-life but we are still
trying to discover the depths of faith, family and how we are to be
Christ-agents in this world in which we live. We are open to explore, ponder and
discover how God will use us in this phase of our lives. We desire to refine and
adjust ourselves while we reconnect to our pasts and make this transition to the
future. It isn't really about the destination but more about the journey....We
use each of you to sharpen us and hone us to be the people that God intended for
us to be. Will you share the journey with us? We love your comments!

Weddings Galore

We have now attended weddings three weekends in a row. They were all lovely! The second, after Shannon G's, was Angie Hellbaum's to NFL player, John Wendling. They had a very Christ-centered wedding in Laramie with the Laramie campus FCA staff worker officiating. I can still remember little Angie running up and down the basketball court in her white wrangler shorts and now she is married!!! Hannah even got to attend the day before she left for the MCC training. Here are some pictures to give you a taste. We traveled this past weekend to to Sioux Falls, SD for Jeremy's college roomate (all four years) Paul Heinert's wedding to his bride Amy. While we don't really know Amy, Tara does because they were roomates one year. She is a real good match for Paul! It was a fun wedding.... with cracker jack and baseball cookies at the tables marking Paul and Amy's love for the Boston Red Sox. Of course their colors were red and black... Charlie doesn't think that is for the Sox but Jer and I do. Dan even danced one dance with me... doesn't that beat all?!?!? No pictures of that but Tara got one of me and Charlie!!! And there is the picture of Jeremy's housemates. What a crew of still very good friends!
