To add to our fun fall festivity theme, Hannah and Abby came up with a KKrew Oktoberfest. Hannah had been to a real one in Germany on her travels and so she and Abby quickly came up with some brillant ways to replicate one in Chugwater, of all places.... doubt that Chug has seen the likes of this before. Abby created the above invites for all of the family. This took place the weekend after the birthday celebration and the weekend before Hannah was to leave for three years so spirits and emotions were running high. Besides that, Charlie had joined us after the trip to MT to meet the sisters got canceled due to poor weather. He found a cheap flight and managed to find his way home. It did his mothers heart good and imagine her shock when he measured out at 6 ft. and 1 half inch tall?!?!? I bet he makes 6' 2"- feet ...eat your hearts out Mick and Jer....We played a famous round of Settlers of Catan for our entertainment and had prayer time for Hannah too.The Sister Duo

Real German Root Beer from a Keg.... no really ROOT Beer...
One of the things that Dan and I love about our kids is how much fun they have together! It is loud and wild and full of laughter when they are all around! It fills this mothers heart to the brim! Dan and I constantly comment how it is a real miracle how God blended our family together! We believe it is the outworking of His grace in our lives that He knit us tightly together as one unit. This takes nothing away from the families that were.... but shows how much He longs to bring "beauty from the ashes" of of lives. He specializes in do-overs... He longs to show that it is Him, and only Him alone, that can take tragedy... something beyond awful, and carefully and quietly weave it together... every stitch in place into a beautful tapestry on the top. Chuck was right.... He cared about the boys and I in Cheyenne, WY and He cared about Dan and the girls....and He has been watching out for us all along!
